Isabella Fiorentini

born in Cagliari, Italy, on 17 June 1996, is my elder daughter. Smart, witty, and humorous - for an adolescent, that is -, she is a top performer in the 3rd junior high at Convitto Nazionale in Cagliari, as well as a pillar of the under-14 and under-15 basketball teams of Spirito Sportivo Cagliari. (Last year she was one of the 8 best students of the whole school, and won a trip to Venice for that - but could not go because she was due to play with a regional selection in a national tournament in Bormio in the same week. She is in the Azzurrine selection this year too - so far, at least.)

I'm especially attached to Isabella's picture above, but yes, it dates some years back. So here is a more recent (feb 09) shot, of which she says: "Man, am I ugly ! Totally un-photogenic !"
